Greater Warren/Conner Framework Plan

The City of Detroit Planning and Development Department is conducting the Greater Warren/Conner Framework Plan as a comprehensive study of four neighborhoods on the east side of Detroit: East Canfield Village, Chandler Park-Chalmers, Fox Creek, and Riverbend. The proposed framework will examine and provide recommendations on the following objectives and deliverables:

• Neighborhood housing stabilization and equitable development

• Commercial and Economic development to include commercial node activation

• Public land stewardship, community open spaces and public places

• Mobility and Streetscapes

• Climate resilience and health equity

Jumi Consulting Group has been contracted by OHM Advisors to provide a market analysis of existing conditions in the target area incorporating demographic information from the US Census Bureau, real estate trends, and windshield surveys. Jumi will also develop place-based recommendations for commercial and economic development, rooted in the community’s feedback and best practices in urban planning.
