Casa Del Rey Apartment Homes

Jumi Consulting Group provided financial modeling and project management services for LJ Golden Realty to close on the Casa Del Rey Apartment Building in Pontiac, Michigan. The Casa Del Rey Apartment Building is a beautiful 50-unit property listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and has been vacant for over a decade. This transformative deal’s capital stack includes financing from IFF, Cinnaire, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), and Oakland County Trust Fund. This historic property will soon offer much-needed, mixed-income housing in the community.

The Oakland Ave. Mixed-Use Development

Jumi Consulting Group provided Stafford House Inc. with predevelopment services including proforma modeling and project management for their mixed-use development project. Jumi Consulting Group worked with Stafford House to secure an $800,000 MSHDA Missing Middle Housing Program Grant and nearly half a million in MEDC RAP funds for the Oakland Ave. development, which is currently under construction.

Jumi Consulting Group provided predevelopment project management services and secured Hamtramck’s first Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC’s) Building MI Communities Grant for the emerging developers to support this local brewery, taproom, and community space.

Greater Warren/Conner Framework Plan

Jumi Consulting Group was contracted by OHM Advisors to provide a market analysis of existing conditions in the target area incorporating demographic information from the US Census Bureau, real estate trends, and windshield surveys. Jumi worked with the team to recommend place-based recommendations for commercial and economic development, rooted in the community’s feedback and best practices in urban planning.
